A perfect storm for
Tesla: we know it’s scary, and a challenge is good: (1) It’s still running
at a operating loss of $6mm, but recorded profit w/e $17 mm in other 1-time
income; (2) the company stopped disclosing its reservation numbers, not saying
anything, but more probably bad than good; (3) quietly lowered their guidance
and tipped us on weak North American demand + shipment to Europe instead; (4)
when we back out regulatory credit, each Model S is still slightly manufactured
and sold in the red. [Note: Personally a big fan of Elon Musk, but I wouldn’t
touch the stock except for buying 1 share on recreational purpose]…Source: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/blog/a-perfect-storm
Prediction: tw
telecom Will Buy, Not Sell: tw telecom doesn’t need capital or business
plan and, if anything, they are on top of their game and but their assets hey

a position to make a big move should the opportunity arise. [Note: Interesting,

Arch Coal: Taking a

just 1 datapoint on demand but what about supply capacity?]…Source: http://reminiscencesofastockblogger.com/2013/04/20/arch-coal-taking-a-side-on-an-uncertain-outlook/
“Facebook fatigue”
stirs investor concern: if it’s not cool any more, what gives? The arrival
of older relatives on Facebook is one of the top reasons cited by teens for
losing interest in the platform and moving to sites that allow pseudonyms; but
the network effect endorsed by real friends gave the site tremendous staying
power. [Note: It is the best way to stay in touch with people and to reconnect—as
long as your old friends still use it; but how can the firm really monetize?]…Source:
